Teddy is a tough
tackling, attacking full back who has been an ever present member of Southend's
U18 and Reserve teams since joining 3 years ago. Prior to joining Southend he
was offered trials at Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Charlton, before finally
settling with the Shrimpers.
The 2010/11 has
seen him progress considerably, and along with only missing a handful of games
since signing his scholarship two years ago, he was a key member of the
Southend U18's team that beat Coventry, Brentford, Derby and Luton before
succumbing to Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup.
Teddy also enjoys fishing and currently holds the record for a mirror carp from his local boating lake.
2008- Present
- Signs 2 year scholarship contract in 2009
- Is a regular player for both U18 and Reserve teams throughout 2 year scholarship, missing only a handful of games.
- Starts in all 5 of Southend's FA Youth Cup games en route to the 6th round.
- Joins Southend United in 2008
2002-2008
- Is offered trials by Arsenal, Liverpool, Charlton, West Ham, Charlton and Southend.
- Joins Chelsea's youth team.
